Advanced Level Apprenticeship in Spectator Safety

Apprentices on this programme will achieve a minimum of 42 credits in total made up of the components of this framework:

24 credits for competence – Highfield ABC Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety

 10 credits for Transferrable skills:

  • 5 credits for English

  • 5 credits for Mathematics

8 credits for Employer Rights and Responsibilities - Level 3 Award in Employment Awareness in Active Leisure and Learning

To achieve the advanced level potential apprentices would be employed in a supervisory role, monitoring crowds and dealing with any problems arising.

Potential apprentices should have a can do attitude and be able to work both as part of a team or on their own.

Being employed at spectator events will require candidates to be willing to work unsociable hours and have the ability to work in crowded and busy sporting venues and environments.

Potential apprentices will also be expected to have excellent customer service, leadership and communication skills.
